Beck Abshire is a dedicated sustainability major at Arizona State University, deeply committed to advancing climate justice with a heart for making a difference. As a skilled trainer and mentor, Beck brings empathy to her role, empowering others to join the movement for justice. Serving as a Climate Reality Leadership Corp Climate Justice Leader, she passionately advocates for marginalized communities, especially those in Red Line Climate Communities.
With a three-year tenure on the board of Missing Murdered Indigenous Women-Chahta, Beck has orchestrated impactful events such as the Annual Women's Leadership Conference and Outdoor Movie Night 2023, amplifying voices and raising awareness. Notably, she has represented Missing Murdered Indigenous Women-Chahta at the Oklahoma Tribal Finance Consortium, highlighting her dedication to addressing urgent issues. Beck's advocacy extends to policy construction aimed at maintaining organizational integrity and supporting speakers.
Her pursuit of knowledge includes specialized coursework in Inclusive Mindset Leadership, sustainability in business, and spiritual sustainability classes, equipping her to effect meaningful change. Graduating with honors from Arizona State University isn't just a goal for Beck; it's a stepping stone toward a future where sustainability, social justice, and equity are interwoven, driven by her genuine passion for creating positive change, one person at a time. She aims to spearhead the fight for climate justice in Red Line Communities while training others to make a difference.
