Vice Chair
Jennifer Spainhour, a dedicated Choctaw Nation citizen, currently serves as a Government Recruiter for the Choctaw Nation. Alongside her professional pursuits, she is pursuing a ministry certification at Charis Bible College. Having graduated from New Life House Sober Living for Women, Jennifer is deeply involved in Narcotics Anonymous, serving as an active member and secretary in the Durant Key to Life group. Additionally, she serves this organization as the Oklatex Area Treasurer and the Red River Region Texas State Convention Liaison Alternate. Jennifer also serves as the Vice Chair for the MMIW Chahta Board, highlighting her commitment to addressing the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women within her community.
Jennifer's involvement across these roles reflects her commitment to service, embodying the principles of a servant leader. Beyond her community engagement, she brings her nurturing spirit home, where she shares her life with her husband and seven children. Actively participating in Victory Life Church, Jennifer extends her caring nature to the children's ministry, showcasing her dedication to both her faith and her community. Jennifer is known for being a beacon of hope, having triumphed over addiction and now extending her hand to others in their journey towards a new way of life. As a dedicated sponsor, she provides support and guidance to both Native and non-Native women, offering them a path to healing and renewal. In her spare time, Jennifer finds fulfillment in giving back to her community by volunteering at the Choctaw Nation Culture Center. Her journey from overcoming personal struggles to becoming a source of strength and support for others exemplifies her unwavering commitment to service and empowerment.
